From 14th, I had 4days holiday. I had been looking forward to it!! Because I had decided to visit my friend to Shizuoka prefecture!! Even if it’s not too far from home, it made me excited! Love! Traveling! In the really morning, I got up at 4oclock. It was still dark outside. Mmm….sleeeepy…… I looked up the sky as I was at the station. It was beautiful sun rise!! That woke me up!
It took 2 hours from home to Tokyo station, then I transferred to bus. We supposed to arrive Shizuoka at 11. But unfortunately we got a traffic jammmmmm!! Traveling with bus reminded me good old days in Australia. I used to travel with bus a lot. I spent 27 hours in the bus once. That was unusual experience in my life. Any way, I barely arrived in Iwata. Oops 1 hours late…sorry my friend! She picked me up then they took me to the green tea farm. Shizuoka prefecture is famous for green tea. Beautiful green tea farms were everywhere!! I tried to bite it. it didn’t taste green tea…..not yummy…
……then we’d visited Kanzanji. We took ropeway to the mountain. We could see beautiful lake which is called Hamanako. It is one of famous spectacular in Shizuoka. If it was much fine and clear day, we could have seen Fuji Mountain. Pity…
Next, we’d been to Bentenjima and Nakatajima-sakyu. Nakatajima-sakyu(sand dune)
Is among three bigger dune in Japan. And I didn’t know that it is the place which torte lays eggs!!!! I wish I could watch it!! Behind the dune, we can see dynamic pacific!! Amazing!
